October, where did you go? Where did I go? Two posts were all I had in me for October. Not a great month for writing, but it was a great month for family-wide food poisoning; colds; mild depression; rainy, sunless days; four weeks of Junior Church with forty kids and one helper; nature discoveries of disgusting kinds (this deserves a post all its own); husband gone at games or meetings; a trip to the emergency room with Micah for a sliced finger; falling totally off the "No-Diet-Coke" wagon; and three car repairs.
November is already looking up--sunny days; picnic at the park with friends; two water balloon fights including ambushing Nathanael as he arrived home from work; and a holiday spent together. And, my mom arrives for a visit in just 10 days! It's gonna be a great month! I may not blog about it, but it's gonna be good.

I love your vulnerability, your honesty, well -- just YOU, Julie! Can't wait to see all of you -- and get those big hugs from the three of you and one small hug from one small boy :). Tell him to keep practicing because if my hug has to be small, it better be good! Love you, Mom
