Last week, I shared about Lent and my desires for personal transformation in a deep way this season of sacrifice in my post "Making Space." At our church here, Church of the Resurrection, the pastoral staff is preaching a series of sermons during Lent called "Conversations with Jesus," centering on the life-transforming encounters of individuals with Christ in the Gospels. This series has been especially challenging for me, and as a follow-up to my previous post on Lent, I wanted to share an excellent sermon from this series by Father Kevin Miller, titled "Finding God in Your Wilderness" based on Jesus' conversation with the Devil during His temptation in the desert found in Matthew 4.
