Ethan, as he removes his soccer gear on Saturday: "Oh, these smell awful. Daddy; you have got to smell this! Ewwww!"
Nathanael: "I don't need to smell them. I know they smell bad."
Ethan, following after Nathanael: "You have to smell it. It's the sweat of my labors."
